Women’s wellness is often overlooked. And, as a momma, sometimes my needs come very last. I forget that I can’t give my best to my family unless I’m refreshed and taken care of. So I push myself to my limits and then end up feeling resentful and burned out.
That’s why I’m trying to fit more everyday wellness into my life. Specifically, I’m wanting to cater to my feminine side and focus on women’s wellness. It’s easier to maintain that feeling of wellness than it is to start with an empty cup and desperately try to fill it.

Everyday Wellness and Health
I like to think of myself – and my site – as a wellness resource for moms. Where any kind of mom can come to fill up her cup.
But sometimes I neglect myself in the process. I just celebrated my 27th birthday and I figured now is as good a time as any to truly commit myself to being my very best self.
But where do I start? I was so happy to receive a box of goodies that are all about empowering women to be their best. These brands are passionate about women’s wellness and I’m so excited to share them with you today.

Women’s Wellness During Periods
When I’m on my period, the pain is intense. After having my son, I was living the dream. I didn’t get my period back until he was around 18 months old. 18 months, plus pregnancy, without cramps, bloating, and backaches. Well, okay, I had some major backaches during pregnancy, but, you get it.
But when I finally got my period back, it was just as horrible as I remembered. I’ve been using Pamprin since I was a teenager for period pain relief. But I hadn’t tried the Pamprin Max Pain + Energy until now.
It has two types of pain relievers plus caffeine. Caffeine helps with not only period-induced fatigue, but also with bloating and water weight gain. It’s definitely joined my arsenal of medication that helps me feel my best.

Wellness Through Self Care
I’m the first person to advocate for self care and the last person to actually care for myself. It isn’t intentional, I swear. But it’s something I’m working on.
In my opinion, self care will look different for everyone. Self care is all about doing what makes you feel good. Not what makes other people feel good.
For me, when I feel put together, that is a form of self care. That means getting dressed to stay home, doing my hair for no one but myself, and just generally taking care of my needs.
BOTA Skincare helps me feel awesome by providing naturally derived products enhanced with CBD. Their age defying hand lotion is so silky soft. It is enhanced with apricot kernel oil and absorbs quickly. I love putting it on right before bed so I wake up with soft, supple hands.
Their warming muscle melt creme is so luxurious. Formulated with cinnamon and CBD oil, it relieves muscle tension and goes on like a dream. They’re also offering my readers 20% off site wide. Use code WOMENSWELLNESS at checkout to save some money with BOTA Skincare.

Sexual Wellness
I could write multiple posts on my journey to sexual health. But to keep it short, I was raised to be very ashamed of almost all things to do with bodies. It took me a long time (and I’m still learning) to accept that sex is a natural, enjoyable part of life.
One thing I love about the Trojan Ultra-Touch Personal Massager is that you can use it alone or with your partner. It’s a small, fingertip vibrator that is enclosed in a soft casing. It’s small, sleek, and easy to use.
Something like this fingertip massager is perfect for anyone who is new to toys. It is small and easy to use. No extra bells and whistles. It isn’t overwhelming and most of all: it feels amazing!

Journaling to Wellness
Another thing that truly helps me is journaling. From the time I turned eight, I started keeping a journal. I have my journals from when I was a teenager and wrote faithfully each night.
After having my son, I kind of forgot to journal. And then I lost that habit and found it hard to get back into journaling.
So I made a goal to journal at least once a week and so far I’m doing it. I know that not all women love to write, but for me, journaling definitely helps on my path to wellness.
